Accessed via the iconic Lone Peak Tram and staring directly out over the resort, "The Big" is a tight, exposed chute framed by jagged rock walls, offering zero room for error. The entrance features a "no-fall zone" that pitches to a terrifying, sustained steepness of up to 50 degrees for over 1,300 vertical feet.
 


This run is so serious that it requires a mandatory Ski Patrol check-in, a partner, and a working avalanche beacon. When you navigate the couloir's technical turns and emerge onto the wide-open powder apron, you haven't just skied a run—you've completed a rite of passage.
